This class was a really low-stress environment to discuss impoverished folks and their experiences. It focused less on politics and policy and more on the day-to-day lives of those living in poverty in housing, education, the labor market etc. We only had 9 people in the class but this allowed for everyone to voice their opinion and flesh them out during discussion.
Professor Razaghian was really good at facilitating discussion and the students centered every discussion we had. She was always prepared and clearly knowledgeable though.
