I don't know why these reviews are so negative. Prof Sturley definitely cares about his students and is very understanding and not a harsh grader. I took him for a biology lab and thought the experience with him was positive overall.

The worst professor I have had at Columbia or Barnard. Do not take. Seriously don’t know why he continues to be hired. He must be keeping someone’s secrets.

Do not take this class. Yes, the stuff covered is interesting. But he is not a teacher. He doesn't know how to teach. Wait til Prof Snow comes back. Please.
